The documentary film Mirkut, which took two years to film and prepare for the screening, focused on the hard work of planting, watering, harvesting, producing, cutting and preparing the famous Qarejdakh rice in one year. As it is known, Qarejdakh rice has been grown in Qarejdakh region for over a thousand years, in the fertile meadows on the plateau and mountain slopes.

The special cultural atmosphere in the documentary film; the colorful life of the Kurds of that region, the songs that are sung with the work, as well as the excitement and worries and hopes of the hard-working farmers are vividly expressed.
